In the last two years and especially in the past 12 months, we have been privileged to be able to work on some of the pressing challenges and solutions that are designed for modern data-driven research powered by Artificial and human intelligence.

Being a part of this bioinformatics and data science community we have had an early realization that “AWARENESS” about the new technologies and research is only available to a very small group of the population. As technology is playing a key role in better understanding and evolution of human well being big data will play in biomedical research, biotechnology and agriculture.

With growing data availability, yet its heterogeneity and complexity, it is not sufficient to design innovative algorithms to detect patterns. To go from patterns to insights, people — biologists, clinicians, students, technicians — need to be empowered to work with data independently. But to leverage such data to its greatest potential, all those who generate, analyze, and interpret such data must be able to work with it.

Hence our focus over the past year or so was to develop high-quality resources for the entire scientific and student community to develop awareness and start contributing right away.

As these resources are also piloted through direct or industry-academia collaborations, and utilized by over 20,000 users all over the globe. The feedback and the experience gave us the opportunity to develop personalized training platforms for every student who connects with us.

In this blog post, I wanted to share with you the resource updates that might help others to get started with their data-driven research journey including the development of new resources and ways for quick learning and entry into the fields of data-driven research in biomedical and other research areas.

Learning bioinformatics and applying modern technologies is a challenge — there are many technical hurdles to overcome, but also many issues regarding the complexity of the data that represents biological, medical, or technological questions being studied. That is why Omics Logic is a place where you can learn about the logic behind bioinformatics. To leverage big data, analyze it effectively following a clear logic, and make your analysis reproducible, we recommend using the T-BioInfo platform.
