Summer Internship in Computational Biology — Omics Logic Research Fellowship Program
Enabling every student, researcher, and faculty to conduct high-value cutting edge data-driven mentor guided pathway for biological research.
A specialized summer internship omics logic training program enabling students to get mentor guided training to conduct bioinformatics analysis using NGS data, computational biology, data science & machine learning tools to work on various biomedical, medical, agriculture, neuroscience, infectious diseases, cancer, precision medicine, oncology-related research questions and projects with examples from infectious covid-19, Malaria, TB, and major cancer types and subtypes, neurodegenerative diseases, and Space biology to explore a few. An online cloud-based research training for students doing Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. programs from prestigious universities around the world and for faculty working on challenging projects.
The Bioinformatics fellowship is a structured program that guides students through various areas of Big Data Bioinformatics Research using practical examples. During this program, we go through several high-quality research publications and learn about applications of computational biology in projects these publications describe. You can learn all about the research fellowship here.

This kind of experience allows beginners to try computational biology techniques on public domain data, making it possible to work with large files and extract meaningful information from patient samples, animal models, cell lines, and microbiota. The program provides support and mentorship, therefore it is an intensive research program involving training tasks, access to our online sessions, and a guide on the implementation of learned skills to proposed research ideas.
A recent publication by one of our participants
Simay Dolaner, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Bahcesehir University, Istanbul, Turkey, who finished her omicslogic research training were able to work on a project involving Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) is a type of blood cancer that has a very heterogeneous biological background and diverse treatment strategies. Here, at first, we have elucidated 870 significantly differentially expressed protein-coding genes that were involved in the biogenesis and processing of RNA. Consequently, these findings led our study to investigate non-coding RNA, and 33 long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) were found to be significantly differentially expressed among two conditions based on differential gene expression analysis.
